I am trying to track the question of the use of cruise missiles
with DU in the Afghan war.

Martin Meissonnier, in his ninety-minute documentary, Uranium apparuvri,
la Guerre invisible (Depleted Uranium, the Invisible War, shown on prime-
time French television in February 2000 on the Canal Plus channel) showed
DU-equipped cruise missiles on display at an international weapons fair in
the Middle East not long after the Gulf War, with the salesman
boasting, "This baby's been battle tested."

By my reckoning, the targets on the first map that NATO made available to the
UN Environmental Program after the Kosovo war and many of those on the
two-meter by two-meter map later given the UNEP represented DU-equipped
cuise missile targets, fired at deep underground installations.

Last week in an article in the International Herald Tribune there was an article
where a bombing site in the mountains was visited and described as having
"no craters". This suggests to me DU.

Any comments or other information?
